Jamesport teen charged with drugged driving after one-car crash on Main Road: police

A Jamesport teen was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs and for second-degree possession of a forged instrument Sunday night after the car he was driving struck a utiity pole on Main Road in Jamesport, according to police.

Joshua Odell, 19, reportedly fell asleep at the wheel of his 1994 Mercury when it left the roadway, east of Manor Lane at about 10:20 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Police said Odell told officers he had smoked pot laced with PCP. He was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and for possessing an altered driver’s license stating he was 21 years old, police said.
