Criminal Mischief
Unknown person broke a sliding glass door.

28 Dec. 2013, 7:22 a.m. Osborn Avenue, Riverhead
Stolen Vehicle
A black 2000 Ford F-250 was removed by unknown person(s)s at the incident location. Detective division and NYSPIN notified.

28 Dec. 2013 1:27 p.m. Tanger 2, 1770 West Main Street, Riverhead
Larceny
An unknown person entered a vehicle and removed $3,200 in items.

29 December 2013 1:38 p.m. La Plage Restaurant, Wading River
Commercial burglary
Employees reported $675 cash missing from the restaurant. It was unknown when the money was taken, police said.

29 December 2013 1:49 p.m. River Road, Calverton
Residential burglary
A resident told police the home was entered illegally.

29 December 2013 7:22 p.m. Peconic Bay Medical Center, Riverhead
Assault
Emergency room staff called police, who responded and interviewed one subject. No arrest was reported.

 

ARRESTS

28 Dec. 2013 9:15 a.m. Northville Turnpike, Riverhead
Disturbance
Vincent Turrigiano was arrested for harassment in the second degree, unlawful fleeing of a police officer, and other vehicle and traffic violations. Subject was transported to police department headquarters, processed and held for arraignment.

28 Dec. 2013 9:25 a.m. Northville Turnpike, Riverhead
Criminal Mischief
Vincent Turrigiano was arrested for criminal mischief in the fourth degree. Subject was transported to police headquarters, processed and held for arraignment.

28 Dec. 2013 3:44 p.m. King Kullen, 795 Old Country Rd, Riverhead
Larceny
Jeffery Jacobson, 49, was arrested on a civilian arrest charge of petit larceny. Subject was transported to police headquarters, processed and held for morning arraignment.
