Hundreds of people gathered at the Railroad Museum of Long Island on Griffing Avenue for the annual Riverhead Railroad Festival Saturday.

Half indoors and half outdoors, the festival features an extensive and interactive model train set, model parts, books and other train oriented items for sale as well as rides on a miniature locomotive. Maple Tree Deli was also on hand for lunch.

The festival continues tomorrow from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for children, children less than 5 years old are free and admission is also free for Railroad Museum of Long Island members.
