The Riverhead Blue Waves defeated the North Babylon Bulldogs yesterday 5-0 on the Waves’ home field.
Maria Dillingham had three goals and two assists in the win, lifting the Blue Waves to 3-0 in Division II. Janelle Carey and Amanda Dickerson had one goal apiece. Riverhead played a solid defense as goalie Grace Dow earned the shutout.
Up next for Riverhead: East Islip on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 4 p.m. at home.
