A woman was injured in a single-car crash this morning on Oakleigh Avenue in Baiting Hollow. The driver was headed south when her Chevy crashed into a telephone pole, police said.

She was transported by Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Peconic Bay Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police said. There were no passengers in the vehicle. No tickets were issued, according to police.
