The 2014 Wines & Canines Run/Walk for Homeless Pets at the Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard on Saturday, September 21st drew a huge crowd of people and pets and raised $23,000 for the Kent Animal Shelter.

“It was heartwarming to see all the Kent alumni (rescues) who in many instances had a rough start in life but now are strutting their stuff!” said Pamela Green, Executive Director of the Kent Animal Shelter. “Many thanks to all our sponsors and to those who came out to walk or run with their best friends at this year’s Wines and Canines. The Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard was a fabulous setting for the event because of its beauty, great food (including sushi), delicious vintages, live afternoon band and convenient location. We were invited back next year, and we are already planning the date!”
