Riverhead Police are investigating a stabbing on Lewis Street in Millbrook Gables late last night.
Police said a 43-year-old man was stabbed in the left shoulder and went to Peconic Bay Medical Center seeking treatment. Police were notified and responded to the hospital at about 11:40 p.m., according to a police press release.
The stabbing victim, identified by police as Hubert Lynah of Riverhead, was treated and released.
No arrests have yet been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
