Thanks to the generosity of the ASPCA, Kent Animal Shelter has been able to purchase new, state-of-the-art medical equipment including a new surgical table, anesthesia machine, surgical lamps, surgical instruments and high-tech items to help monitor pets during surgery.

The equipment, valued at $ 23,300, will help the animal shelter spay/neuter even more pets than our 4500 surgeries annual average, thereby preventing thousands of unwanted litters in our region while helping to ensure the health and well being of pets.

Kent Animal Shelter is a 501C3 organization establishd in 1968 in Calverton, NY that provides a no-kill haven for homeless animals, adoption services, a spay/neuter clinic, and humane education. More information is available at www.KentAnimalShelter.com
