The award-winning McGann-Mercy Theatre Company presents the Ken Ludwig situational comedy, “Moon Over Buffalo” tonight through Saturday night at McGann-Mercy High School.

Set in the 1953, the play is about two aging actors, a husband and wife, working in a repertory theater in Buffalo, New York, who learn that the famous film director Frank Capra would be coming to see their matinee performance and might cast them, as emergency replacements, in one of his films.

The universe conspires against them, and anything that could go wrong or awry does.

The show opens tonight and runs through Saturday in the school auditorium. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and will be sold at the door.

Bishop McGann-Mercy High School is located at 1225 Ostrander Avenue in Riverhead.

“Moon Over Buffalo” cast:
George Hay – Max Crean
Charlotte Hay – Caitlin Jacobs
Rosalind – Lilly Mayer
Howard – Johnny Tumminello
Paul – Cory Hermus
Ethel – Grace Lukachinski
