Southampton Town Police have identified the victims of Sunday night’s fatal accident on Flanders Road in Riverside.
Police said 42-year-old Fidel R. Ortiz of Riverside was the pedestrian killed in the MVA on Flanders Road shortly before 8 p.m. Nov. 23.
The second pedestrian, who was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, has been identified as Modesto Robles, 58, police said. Robles remains in the intensive care unit at Stony Brook, police said.
At this time no charges have been filed against the driver, Edward L. Allen, 40, of Riverhead, according to a police press release issued this afternoon.
Southampton Town Police detectives are continuing the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 631-702-2230.
