A two-car collision sent two people to the hospital around 8:30 this morning.
A Honda Civic was turning off of Fresh Pond Avenue onto Route 25 when it collided with a westbound Chevy Malibu, according to police.
The female drivers of the Civic and the Chevrolet were transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center by the Wading River Fire Department Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, according to radio reports.
The MVA was the second this morning, occurring just minutes after a fatal accident nearby on Sound Avenue in Bating Hollow.
