McGann-Mercy alumni took to the field Saturday for the school’s seventh annual alumni flag football game.
“The alumni love to come back,” Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations Debbie Kneidl said. “It’s an opportunity for them to come back, get together and have a fun game … and they do.”
About 40 alumni usually come through, Kneidl said. Ages range from mid-80s grads through last year’s graduates.
Kneidl is a co-organizer of the event along with Jeff Doroski, class of ’92 and a physical education teacher at Mercy, and Melissa Edwards, Mercy’s Athletic Director.
