A three-car collision briefly shut down East Main Street around 9:30 this morning.
A Chevrolet S10 pickup truck was heading eastbound down East Main when it collided with a westbound Honda turning into Tire Country, police said. A Hyundai traveling westbound then collided with the Honda, according to police.
The driver of the Honda and the driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries and were taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center by the Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
The road will reopen around 10 a.m., according to radio reports.
