Double feature! Riverhead High School Blue Masques is putting on two one-act plays this weekend at the RHS Charles Cardona Auditorium.

The plays – The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet and The Audition – will be presented back-to-back Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

2015_0107_blue_masques2In The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet, Dr. Seuss meets Shakespeare in a charming and whimsical production of one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies. It brings clever elements of Dr. Seuss to the much-beloved tale of two lovers forced apart by their warring families.

Riverhead Blue Masques will also present The Audition, which offers a glimpse into the hectic, hilarious and sometimes heart-rending process of auditioning for any high school show.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and $5 for seniors and Riverhead High School students.
