Carl V. King of Riverhead, formerly of East Hampton, died January 3, 2015. He was 71 years old.

He was born to Preston and Antionette (Pelis) King on November 11, 1943 in Riverhead. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1966-69.

King worked as a plumber with Southampton Plumbing.

He enjoyed clamming and fishing.

Survived by his sisters Marie Kiembook of East Hampton, Sharon Peters of Virginia and Pauline Mohan of Connecticut and brothers Edwin of Flanders and Brian and Paul of East Hampton.

Arrangements entrusted to McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on January 15 at Calverton National Cemetery.
