Celebrate Children’s Dental Health Month with free admission to the Long Island Aquairum and Give Kids a Smile dental screening. The event is open to all children ages 1 to 17; children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  The event will take place at the Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center on  Saturday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission to the aquarium is free for all children and one adult per child. The dental screen includes a cleaning and fluoride treatment. Children will receive a free goodie bag, dental sealants (if approrpiate). The event will feature a puppet show and dental health education throughout the day and a Lionel Train exposition, as well as a drawing contest of the tooth fairy.

Dental services will be provided by members of the Suffolk County Dental Society, dental faculty, residents and students of Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, residents from the St. Charles Hospital as well as students in the Farmingdale State College Hygiene Program.

The Long Island Aquarium is located at 431 East Main Street in Riverhead, NY.
