Over 35 student performers of Riverhead Middle School’s Middle Masques are ringing in the new year with a retelling of the classic tale “Scrooge”. Students in grades seven and eight appear side by side, with parents, professional actors, and community members mentoring these young actors and actresses. The ensemble cast features Scrooge by Kyle Frost; Bob Cratchit will be played by Jacob Raynor; and the play will be narrated by Olivia Bozuhoski and Katie Rodriguez.
Scheduled performances are Friday, January 23 and 30, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday January 24 and 31 at 2 p.m. in the Pulaski Street Auditorium. Tickets will be $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the door; they can be purchased from Patricia Skura in advance or at the door on the nights of the production, but seating is limited. Call Pat at 369-6767 for ticket information.
The community is invited to come and support the hard work of these talented students.
