William W. “Buster” Wilson of Riverhead died February 10, 2015 in Georgia. He was 76 years old.

He was born April 3, 1938 to William and Ethel Wilson in North Carolina. He went on to marry Emma V. Williams in 1961.

Wilson worked as a cook at the Senior Center of the Town of Riverhead. He spent his leisure time fishing and racing.

He is survived by his wife, Emma, and children, Dorothy McCoy of Baltimore, Debra Kozerski of Florida, William Wilson of Georgia, Doris Strange of Riverhead and Doreen Wilson-Williams of Riverhead. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, February 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at McLoughlin Heppner Funeral Home. A service will be held Monday, February 16 at 11 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church in Mattituck. Memorial donations may be made to Riverhead Meals on Wheels.
