The Riverhead Fire Department will host a community blood drive from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, at the firehouse at 540 Roanoke Avenue in Riverhead.
Blood donations are needed throughout the year but especially now during the winter months. Blood donation is quick and easy and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that your act can save a life or help your friend or neighbor who may be undergoing medical treatment requiring a blood transfusion.
