William C. Fedun of Calverton died February 25, 2015. He was 95 years old.
He was born on March 21, 1919 in Mattituck to Michael and Helen Fedun. He went on to marry Jennie Bogdan on June 9, 1947 in Calverton.
He worked as a farmer in Calverton, and for many years he was the acting chairman of his church BBQ Committee. He loved his work and enjoyed spending most of his free time farming.
Predeceased by his wife, Jennie, in 2011, Fedun is survived by his children David of Calverton, William Jr. of Ohio and Karen of Riverhead, his sister Helen Joseph of Florida and his five grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1 from 2 to 6 p.m. A service will be held on Monday, March 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Johns Ukrainian Church. Interment will be at St. Isidore Cemetery.
