Martha I. Whyard of Calverton died February 28, 2015. She was 90 years old.
She was born on October 15, 1924 to Henry Fred Clark and Elizabeth Styler in Worshester, Massachusetts.
She went on to work as a registered nurse at Dr. Wolbrosky’s practice in Riverhead.
Predeceased by her husband Clyde in 1992, Whyard is survived by her sons Tim of Rocky Point, Terry of Southold, Tracy of Aquebogue, Clyde III of Colorado; daughters Diane of Calverton, Penny of Holbrook, Dawn Harris of Riverhead; her sister Charlotte Jacques of Riverhead and seven grandchildren and her great-grandchild.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4 officiated by Rev. Stan Knavel of Baiting Hollow Congregational Church.
