UPDATE: William Reuschle has been located, safe and unharmed.

The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing North Babylon man who may suffer from early onset dementia.

William Reuschle, 91, was last seen leaving his home at 45 Burnage Lane at approximately 1:30 p.m. on March 6. He was driving a white 2010 Toyota Corolla, NY Registration ETU 2819.

He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and white thinning hair. He was last seen wearing a blue/green ski jacket, white T-shirt with the American flag on the front, khaki pants, loafers and a khaki baseball cap. He also wears glasses.

Anyone with information about his location is requested to contact First Squad detectives at 631-854-8152.

As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
