Police are searching for a woman who robbed Suffolk County National Bank on Second Street at around 10:30 this morning.
Bank personnel described the suspect as a Hispanic or light-skinned black female approximately 5’2’-5’5” with a medium build wearing a black jacket with a grey hooded sweatshirt underneath the jacket, blue jeans, black hat and sunglasses. She entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash. She was given an amount of money and then fled southbound on foot, according to the police report.
Police searched the area with K9 and aviation units, according to a press release issued this afternoon.
