The St. Isidore Falcons took home the CYO L.I. basketball championship yesterday at Molloy College in Rockville Centre. The eighth grade boys went undefeated this season with a final 42-37 victory over Corpus Christi to take home the L.I. title.

The Falcons (16-0) coached by Angel Chevalier were led by starters Christian Pace, Justin Chevalier, Kamryn Gill, Nick Ruisi and J.P. Harding. The roster included Eric Behr, Chris Kenter, Quint Nigro, Thomas Penna, Grayson Rizzo, Paul Schmidt and Gino Senica. All the boys worked hard this season to bring home the trophy.

“Teamwork is what got us here,” Coach Chevalier said.
