James M. Hogan of Riverhead died on March 23, 2015 at Peconic Bay Medical Center. He was 64 years old.
He was born in Riverhead on August 8, 1950 to Jerome and Bessie Hogan.
Hogan was a farmer in Calverton. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching his grandson, Sean, GoKart.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Catherine Lojko and his son Michael. Hogan is survived by his daughter, Christine Hogan of Mattituck and partner Fran Madzelan of Riverhead; brothers, Jerome of Riverhead and Harold of New York as well as his grandson, Sean.
Memorial visitation will be held at McLauglin Heppner Funeral Home on Thursday, March 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, March 26 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Isidore Church. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery.
