McGann-Mercy is proud to announced that five of its students were selected to perform in the SCMEA (Suffolk County Music Educators Association) Division III East All-County Concert that was held at Comsewogue High School on Saturday, March 14, 2015.
Participation in the SCMEA All-County concert is through initial nomination by the student’s music teacher and then selection from amongst musicians nominated from the other 41 districts/private schools in the Division.
Division III East extends as far east as Montauk and west as Sayville on the south shore and Three Village on the north.
The following McGann-Mercy students were selected to participate:
Olivia Geppel (9th grade) from Mattituck – Choir
Angelika Osiniak (10th grade) from Riverhead – Choir
Stephen Sarich (10th grade) – from Sound Beach – Choir
Justin Deutsch (10th grade) – from Bellport- Orchestra (Trombone)
Brandon Vassallo (10th grade) – from Bellport – Band (Percussion)
