John S. Trimore of Calverton died on March 30, 2015. He was 95 years old.
He was born on January 26, 1920 in Brooklyn to Anthony and Margaet Trimore.
Trimore was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Atlantic Container Line in New York, NY. He served with the US Army from 1942-46.
H was an usher at St. Johns Parish and he enjoyed golf, gardening, going for walks and bowling.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie of Calverton, daughter Janice Flood of Flanders and two grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home Interment will be at Calverton National Cemetery.
