Dorothy “Dot” Passman Michna, 91, of Vero Beach, FL., passed away peacefully on April 28, 2015.
She was born to Margaret and Author Passman in New York City, New York. They moved to Center Moriches and in 1943 she wed the love of her life, Anthony Michna. They lived in Center Moriches where she was Director of American Heart Association of Suffolk County until 1976. At that time she and Tony retired to Fort Pierce, Florida.
Dot is pre-deceased by her husband, Tony, and her daughter, Margaret Bradley. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Michna (Eileen) of Costa Mesa, California and Richard Michna of Vero Beach, Florida. She is also survived by four granddaughters and six great grandchildren. She will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on June 20, 10:45 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Center Moriches. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Treasure Coast Hospice.
