A three-car accident on Sound Avenue in Mattituck early Sunday sent victims, including two from Jamesport, to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, the accident took place at 12:11 a.m., when Heather Gadomski, 22, of Greenport, who was driving a 2006 Dodge eastbound on Sound Avenue, crossed into the westbound land and struck two vehicles.

The first, police said, was a 2003 Dodge driven by Jose Lopez, 37, of Jamesport, and the second was a 2014 Jeep driven by Michael Fetherston, 31, of Hoboken, New Jersey.

Doris Sorto, 21, of Jamesport was a passenger in Lopez’s vehicle and Jaclyn Crossley, 25, of Pearl River, New Jersey was a passenger in Fetherston’s vehicle, police said.

No charges were filed in the accident, police said.

Mattituck Fire Department Rescue, Cutchogue Fire Department Rescue and Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps all responded to the scene and transported those involved to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.

All three vehicles were destroyed in the crash, police said.

The accident closed Sound Avenue in both directions during the investigation.
