A motorcyclist was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital last night after a crash on Middle Country Road (NY Route 25) in Calverton.
Police said Michael Porter was operating a 2006 Suzuki eastbound on Middle Country Road in Calverton when he collided with a 2014 Toyota driven westbound by M. Medina- Zecena as she attempted to turn into the driveway of a residence about a quarter-mile east of Fresh Pond Avenue.
Police were called to the scene at 9:23 p.m.
Porter suffered “serious but non-life-threatening injuries,” police said. He was transported by Suffolk County Police aviation to Stony Brook. Medina-Zecena was not injured.
No criminal charges were filed, police said.
