Brings some blankets and chairs for a free outdoor showing of Disney’s Big Hero 6 at Stotzky Park Saturday.

The movie will be projected on a 14-by-26 foot screen at Stotzky Park Field 1. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

All town residents are welcome at the event, which is hosted by the Riverhead Recreation Department. Children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.

Viewers are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets or other forms of seating and arrive early to find a comfortable place to watch the movie.

The movie will begin at 8:30 p.m. and runs for 102 minutes. The highest-grossing animated film of 2014, Big Hero 6 was a critical and commercial success, made by the same team that created 2013’s wildly popular Frozen. Watch the trailer:
