June 29th was a beautiful day of fun in the sun at the 2105 PBMC Health Golf Classic presented by Northern Trust. The event took place at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton followed by a cocktail dinner reception that included a live auction and the much anticipated announcement of the St. Barts raffle winner.

The sold out event hosted 84 enthusiastic golfers, which included NY Islanders’ Bob Nystrom, Eddie Westfall, Butch Goring and Steve Webb. Players had the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of premier golf at a championship course with stunning views and ranked 44th on Golf Digest’s 2013-14 Top 100 Greatest Golf Courses in America and 8th in the state of New York. “The Golf Outing brought together friends and colleagues, and was a great occasion to network with business leaders while supporting PBMC Health’s new Tick-Related Disease Center,” said Samantha Vigliotta, Vice President, PBMC Health Foundation.

The fun didn’t end there for Andrew Galasso of Lighthouse Marina, winner of the St. Barts Raffle, who can now look forward to an exciting 7-day stay at the exclusive luxury villa, La Danse des Etoiles, recognized as one of the Top 10 Villas on St. Barts.

The 2015 PBMC Health Golf Classic was generously sponsored by Diamond Sponsor: Northern Trust; Platinum Sponsors: BankUnited and Stan & Peggy Zinberg; Gold Sponsor: The Krauss Musculoskeletal Institute; Golf Cart Sponsor: Lighthouse Marina; Bronze Sponsors: Lowenberg, Lituchy & Kantor and Marsh Private Client Services; Hole in One Sponsor: Rubio Premier Motors; and Raffle Sponsors: Lynne & Bob Grossman.

The event, chaired by Alison Grossman and hosted by PBMC Health Foundation, raised nearly $250,000, which will benefit PBMC Health’s Tick-Related Disease Center, located at the Gertrude & Louis Feil Campus on 496 County Road 111, Building B in Manorville, NY. The Tick-Related Disease Center is a program of PBMC Health, with educational support from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk, and committed to the education, diagnosis, and treatment of tick-borne diseases.
