Surveillance camera images released by police Aug. 21 show person they say burglarized a gas station convenience store in July.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who burglarized a convenience store at a Jamesport gas station in July.

A person broke the glass door at the American Gas Station, located at 1427 Main Road, on July 25 at 2:10 a.m. and stole approximately 20 cartons of cigarettes, coins and lottery tickets.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
