After the great success of its run in Greenport last month, Shakespeare in the Park will give two encore performances of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at the Jamesport Meeting House this Saturday.

With choreographed dance and song, the production drew crowds last month to Mitchell Park in Greenport, where Northeast Stage holds its annual Shakespeare in the Park performances.

Saturday will mark the first time the troupe has performed at the Jamesport Meeting House.

A matinee at 2 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:30 p.m. will be held Saturday, September 5. A $15 donation is suggested at the door.

Directed by Hannah Gray, Twelfth Night features “a lively group of characters who make the story and its many bequests of love the lively, comedic journey that has become one of William Shakespeare’s most enjoyable plays,” according to a description by Northeast Stage.
