It’s that time of year again. Those big yellow buses will be rolling early tomorrow morning and school children will be on the streets heading back to school.

AAA New York and the Riverhead Police Department are reminding motorists to watch out for youngsters traveling to and from school.

AAA reminds drivers, including bicyclists, to be especially cautious in school areas— keep your speed at or below posted limits and be prepared to stop, on both sides of the street, for school buses with flashing red lights and stop arms, as required by New York State law.
