After falling behind 3-0 early on, a Riverhead player received a red card for violent conduct at Stotzky Park Wednesday afternoon. Playing a man down, the Blue Waves stormed back in the second half and made a game of it with goals by Ryan Lull and Victor Guazhambo. Unfortunately, that’s as close as Riverhead would come. Newfield walked away 3-2 winners.
