Riverhead Central School District’s driver’s education program is still open for registration. Students in the district who are at least 16 years old and hold a driver’s permit.
The theory class is held on Thursdays and the driving class on Fridays after school. The cost for the the course $525 and at completion students will receive a MV-285 certificate which allows a 17 year-old to get a full license as well as a discount on insurance.
Students who are interested should call 631-369-6809 as soon as possible and leave a message. The registration form is available on the district’s website.
