Thomas W. Wall of Southold, formerly of Wantaugh, died Sept. 27, 2015 at Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport. He was 94 years old.

Born Sept. 24, 1921 in Ireland, he was the son of Joseph and Catherine Wall.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II (1942-1946). He worked as a court clerk in State Supreme Court, Queens County.

Wall was a Southold resident for 29 years. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the American Legion Griswold Terry Glover Post 803 in Southold. He enjoyed boating and bowling.

Predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2014, he is survived by his children Doreen of Middle Island, Kenneth and his wife Mary of Garden City, Patricia Paden of Islip, and Eileen Wall of Southold. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Christopher, Thomas and Bonnie Wall; and Dale and Katieann Paden.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coster-Hepner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1 at St. Patrick’s Church in Southold. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
