Two women, both pregnant and with an infant in a car seat in the back of their vehicle, sustained non-life-threatening injuries after a rollover on Route 105 and Riverside Drive this morning, according to Riverhead police at the scene.
The women were heading northbound on Route 105 when the accident took place at 9:15 a.m. when their SUV crossed two lanes and flipped over, police said said.
Both women and the infant were transported by Flanders Ambulance to Peconic Bay Medical Center with “minor injuries,” police said.
The accident remains under investigation, police said.
