Three people escaped injury in a two-car accident on Sound Avenue in Baiting Hollow Saturday morning.

The driver of a Ford SUV, headed westbound on Sound Avenue, was reported by a motorist to police as an erratic operator moments before she crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with an eastbound Lexus sedan, which then crashed into a utility pole, according to police.

The woman driving the SUV passed field sobriety tests, police said. She, as well as the driver of the Lexus and his passenger, were uninjured. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
