Riverhead highway crews are paving local roads in Wading River and Riverhead today.

Highway Superintendent George Woodson said town crews will be paving on Wading River Manor Road from Route 25A to Long Pond Road, beginning at 6 a.m. The work should be completed by about 9 a.m., Woodson said.

Crews will then move on to central Riverhead, where they will pave Middle Road between Doctors Path and Northville Turnpike, he said.

Time permitting, they will continue work on Sweezy Avenue.

Traffic will be detoured around the work areas, Woodson said.
