Daniel R. Goodale of Riverhead died Oct. 5, 2015 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 37 years old.
Born Oct. 21, 1977 in Southampton, he was the son of Harold and Margaret (Hildreth) Goodale.
He was a graduate of Riverhead High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team. He worked in construction in the Riverhead area.
He was predeceased by his brother Ben in 2013, he is survived by his parents; his stepmother Penny; his son Luke and mother Karen Berry; his brothers Harold III, Timothy, Andrew and Charles; his grandmother Gene Goodale; and grandfather Hoard Hildreth.
The family will receive visitors at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead on Friday, Oct. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Old Steeple Community Church. Cremation will be private.
