Someone in Riverhead got lucky last night.

A $150,000 winning Power Ball ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven in DMV Plaza on Route 58 yesterday, according to N.Y. State Lottery.

Store clerks at the convenience store this evening said they hadn’t heard a winning ticket was sold there.

A man exiting the store claimed he knew the winner and it was a local man, but he declined to disclose the winner’s name.

Suffolk County had one other winner yesterday, a $34,939 TAKE 5 winner who purchased a ticket at the Handy Pantry on Main Road in Mattituck.

The big winner in yesterday’s Power Ball was a ticket sold in Niagra Falls for $1 million prize.

The winners have not yet come forward, Lottery officials said.

“The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket, to check their tickets again, as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing,” the agency said in an email announcing the winners.
