During the month of November teens can join Riverhead Free Library help Animal Shelters. Teens in grades seven through 12 are invited to earn community service hours by donating and collecting canned dog or cat food, clean sheets, towels and blankets. The collection will take place from November 2 through 30.

For more information on this community service opportunity, call 631727-3228 ext. 112.
