Christopher P. Patti of Riverhead, formerly of Northport, died on November 17, 2015. He was 87 years old.

Born on May 23, 1928 in Brooklyn, he was the son of Joseph Patti and Rosina Conti. He served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952. He went on to work as a mechanic for Trans World Airlines at John F. Kennedy Airport.

He was married to his wife Philomela for more than 60 years. In his free time, he liked to golf, hunt and fish.

He was predeceased by his sister, Mary O’Malley, in 2011, and is survived by his son Christopher of Riverhead; daughter Rosemary Grande of Farmingville and brother Joseph Patti, of New Jersey, as well as by six grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 20 at 10:45 a.m. at St. Johns Church, officiated by Father Larry. Burial will follow in Calverton National Cemetery.
