The Roanoke Avenue PTO will hold its fifth annual wreath and holiday decor sale Saturday, December 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Roanoke Avenue School.
Wreaths, poinsettias, roping and other holiday decor items will be available. Proceeds help support the Roanoke Avenue PTO.
Spend $20 or more and receive $5 off your purchase by donating a new unwrapped toy to support the second grade’s annual toy drive. The new toys collected will be donated to Stony Brook Hospital’s pediatric ward.
Suggested donations include action figures, X-box or other electronic games, colored pencils and sketch books, craft kits, matchbox cars, and new, small stuffed animals.
The hospital recommends light up toys, squeaky toys and rattles for babies and infants. Additionally, gift cards to Target, Best Buy, and iTunes are appreciated.
