We've got a number of new things we're working on rolling out for the New Year.
The first new thing is this blog, which is dedicated to this website. Here in the Admin Blog, we'll be writing about :
- new features on the site
- how to use the site
- known site issues and what we're doing to address them
- stuff we plan to do in the future
- anything pertaining to the care, feeding and growth of RiverheadLOCAL

The second new thing is we're now publishing reports from the Riverhead Town Justice Court. The Justice Court Report will contain information provided by the court for each day it's in session, reporting on convictions, dismissals and adjournents of pending criminal cases. We'll report details on the dispostion of alleged penal law and some vehicle and traffic law infractions.
We hope you enjoy this feature. It's a good complement to the Police Blotter, because the police press report we get from the Riverhead Police Department often omits a variety of arrests or provides minimal information. It's also good to follow up and see how charges are disposed.
