Southampton Town Concilwoman Christine Scalera and the Cornell Cooperative Extension will be holding a public meeting Minday, March 3 to discuss a garden initiative. They urge the community to “open a new door to good health in our community.”
Cornell Cooperative Extension strives to create community gardens by working with community planning boards. If you would like to be a part of this initiative CCE is looking for community garden leaders, volunteers and residents. The meeting will take place at the David Crohan Center, located at 655 Flanders Road, from 6 to 8 p.m.
