Riverhead firefighters made a quick stop of a vehicle fire on Oak Drive in Riverhead Saturday night.
The fire department responded to the call at about 7:30 p.m. and found the vehicle, which was parked on the street, fully engulfed in flames.
The owner of the vehicle said she’d parked it there an hour earlier, according to Riverhead First Assistant Chief Kevin Brooks said.
Two engines responded and a couple remained on standby, Brooks said.
There were no injuries reported.
