Jamesport firefighters doused a fully involved vehicle fire on Manor Lane this morning.
Two men in a Dodge pickup truck heading southbound on Manor Lane told police they “heard two loud bangs” and then started smelling smoke. The vehicle burst into flames. Both occupants escaped the truck without injury, police said.
The incident took place about a quarter-mile south of Sound Avenue.
The pickup was towed from the scene.
